🌿 Find calm through movement
Have you ever tried to meditate — only to find yourself thinking instead?
Maybe you sit down, close your eyes, and try to focus on your breath. But then one thought leads to another — and before you know it, the timer rings and the meditation is over.
You realize you weren’t really meditating — you were sitting there worrying.
When life is full of things to do, letting go of thoughts isn’t always easy.
That’s why Belly Dance Meditation™ works so well.
When your attention shifts into movement and sensations, the mind naturally quiets down. You feel present, peaceful — and maybe even notice that what felt complicated suddenly seems simple.

About Your Host 🌿

I’m Sanna Myllylä – a dance teacher, meditation guide and creator of the Dansence™ method. Belly Dance Meditation was born from my own realization that movement can quiet the mind and reconnect us with our bodies.
Through dance, I learned to accept myself and enjoy the expression of my body. While working as a professional dancer in Egypt, I discovered how Oriental dance can be deeply meditative – mindfulness in motion. When dance and awareness met, Dansence™ was born – a way to weave movement, breath and presence into one harmonious experience.
Belly Dance Meditation is like a bubble bath for the mind – especially for women, who often juggle many thoughts and roles at once. Focusing on just one thing isn’t always easy, but when attention moves to the sensations in the body, the mind naturally softens. Women are inherently embodied and sensitive beings, which makes presence through movement both natural and deeply rewarding. 🌸
I’ll guide you with gentleness and encouragement – no need to perform or know how to dance. All you need is curiosity and a few minutes to feel what peace in movement can be like.
