Hello, I’m Sanna — a professional Oriental belly dance teacher and a certified meditation and mindfulness instructor. On this page, you can get to know my story and how dance and presence have shaped both my life and my teaching.

Hi, I’m Sanna

I am a professional Oriental belly dance teacher and a certified meditation and mindfulness instructor. I have been dancing for over 30 years and guiding people into meditation and presence in a gentle, practical way.

Dance has been my home since I was young. Meditation, on the other hand, has walked alongside me especially during times when life asked me to slow down, listen more deeply, and reconnect with myself.

Through Oriental belly dance, I first encountered the power of femininity and the joy of deep body awareness. Meditation gave me the space to meet myself honestly and with courage. When these two worlds came together, they naturally shaped my way of teaching — where movement and presence support each other.

I have worked as a professional dancer both in Finland and abroad, including Egypt, and I have had the privilege of teaching students who have gone on to succeed in competitions nationally and internationally. Teaching is not just my profession — it is something I truly love and learn from every day.

My teaching style is grounded, precise, and encouraging. You are welcome to my classes exactly as you are. I correct details when needed, but I never lose sight of what matters most: a sense of ease, insight, and acceptance of your own body.

Today, I teach both live classes and online. Through live Zoom classes, I guide dancers from different countries to connect with Oriental belly dance in a clear, supportive, and inspiring way.

I want to offer you a safe and welcoming space where you can find joy, calm, and connection to yourself — through movement and presence.
